  1. this shortened clip from David Attenborough - life on our planet is a 1 minute 10 seconds clip of a slow montage in which they use drone shots, extreme close ups, mid shots and long shots. the sound usage in both non and diegetic sound being footsteps and creeks as well as eerie music as we are shown the outrage globalisation and pollution has caused. the realism in this extract is seen as we inside the destruction of what ones was a full town to the eerie present. the extract has a show not tell feel positioning the audience to want to find out more.
  2.  extract two is shortened from 1 minute 40 seconds and is heavily linked to the previous sequence in topic terms, they use a mixture between montage and a mid shot interview style constantly changing allowing the audience to see what Attenborough is speaking about as his voice continues into a voice over, the shots used are mid shot, and then all kinds of armature archived footage to present the realism along with sounds of children playing
  3. extract three is shortened down from roughly 7 minutes again using a slow montage of natural life, the camera shot are all extream close up presenting the beauty of the natural earth, sound used is non diogetic, the use of voice over with a distant eerie hum, again realism is caused through the evidential clips shown in which sir David speaks about.
